Our Story: Highland Roots, Local Heart

Robertson Farm has been in the family since 1953, nestled just outside Beauly in the Scottish Highlands. What began as a traditional working farm has grown — under the care of Karen Robertson — into a warm, welcoming shop that still puts Highland values at the heart of everything.

Since opening the farm shop doors in 2002, Karen and her team have shared the best of the Highlands with locals and travellers alike. Whether it’s fresh produce, Highland beef, oaty treats, or thoughtful gifts, each shelf celebrates the region’s flavour and charm.

If you’re lucky, you might catch a glimpse of our beloved Highland cows — Jamie Mackenzie Fraser and Katie Morag — or hear Karen calling them over for a photo. It’s this hands-on care, from packing hampers to chatting with customers, that makes Robertson’s more than a shop. It’s a small piece of Highland life.

So whether you're popping in for eggs, sponsoring a coo, or looking for something special — welcome. You’re part of the story now.
